BarleyBurger Stew

Ingredient:
2 pound ground beef
2 cups onions, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
½ cup green bell pepper
72 ounce tomato juice
2 cups water
4 tsp salt
4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 cup uncooked instant barley

Directions:
In a large saucepan, cook and stir ground beef and onion until the meat and onion are tender. Drain off fat.
 Stir remaining ingredient; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour .Stir frequently.
Then add barley and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with grilled cheese and ice tea.
